Paul Carne, manager of the F&C Lifestyle fund range, is leaving the company to join an institutional investment consultancy firm.
Carne, who is named manager of the funds and a member of the Thames River Multi-Capital team following the takeover of the group by F&C last year, is understood to be joining Aon. A spokesperson for F&C confirmed Carne was departing. He said Thames River's multi-capital team, headed up by Gary Potter and Robert Burdett, would now manage the funds via a subadvisory agreement. John Yule, head of UK sales for Thames River, said there would be no change to the investment process on the funds as a result of the departure.
